• It’s a Regime, Not a Party

  The administration, congressional majority, Supreme Court majority, and a ring of aligned billionaires read better as one regime than as three checked branches.

  The scenes are predictable. A Republican legislator either a) pretends to be talking on their cell phone, b) feigns ignorance of the subject of the question being asked, or c) stands in front of a camera and calls a Trump action "deeply troubling."

  The statement ricochets across the main stream media. If and when there's a vote - on legislation or an appointment the offical votes with the White House. The expression of concern was was for media consumption, the vote is what counted.

  The Republican Party holds the White House, controls the Senate and the House, and can count on six of the nine seats on the Supreme Court. Alongside this control of the political system, a new brand of Republican excercise of power has emerged.

  A better description of today's Republicans is regime.

  They are not a traditional party competing inside a three-branch system, but a single power coalition — administration, congressional majority, court majority, and a constellation of aligned billionaires.

  What's a regime?

  A government is the mechanism through which a political community makes binding decisions, enforces them, and settles disputes about them. The officeholders change based on the will of the governed.

  A regime is a deeper, more durable system — formal rules and informal habits together — that decides who gets power and how the powerful treat everyone else.

  The Big Lie Persists: July 16, 2026

  A document-by-document fact-check of the July 16, 2026 election fraud claims, comparing the speech to the government's own declassified evidence.

  On the night of July 16, 2026, President Trump stood at a podium, announced the "immediate declassification" of critical intelligence, and told the country its elections had been compromised on a scale never seen in history.

  China, he said, had pulled off "the largest compromise of election data in history," making off with 220 million American voter files.

  The Deep State buried it.

  The machines are "easily compromised." Venezuela showed how it's done. And behind him, and posted to whitehouse.gov, sat the proof: fifty-eight documents, stamped and declassified, "personally reviewed" by his intelligence chiefs.

  So I asked several of our AI Skills to read them. All four sets. We ran the scanned pages through optical character recognition because most of them are images, not text, and cross-checked every headline claim against the specific document behind it and against the public record.

  Here's what we found, and it's the whole argument in one sentence: the government's own released evidence does not support the speech built on top of it.

  In several places, it says the opposite. The most important document in the entire trove — the January 2020 intelligence memo Trump quotes for his scariest line — contains a section warning that people would do exactly what he did with it that night.

  Public Lands Are a Public Asset — Follow the Wealth Transfer

  Trump-era public-lands policy — monument reductions, royalty rollbacks, revolving-door appointments — is a documented transfer of wealth from American landowners to a shareholder class concentrated in the top 10%.

  On July 13, 2026, the White House cut Bears Ears National Monument from about 1.36 million acres to roughly 121,100 acres (Source: White House Proclamation, July 13, 2026, whitehouse.gov). That is a 91% reduction.

  The same-day proclamation for Grand Staircase-Escalante cut it from about 1.87 million acres to roughly 181,500 acres — another 90% cut (Source: Utah News Dispatch, July 13, 2026). Together the two proclamations removed federal monument protection from nearly three million acres of land owned by the American people.

  The Bears Ears proclamation cites the need to unlock "silver, copper, molybdenum, lead, uranium, vanadium, and zinc" and reduce reliance on foreign sources (Source: White House proclamation text, July 13, 2026). It does not disguise itself as a debate about land ethics. It is a resource allocation, executed by executive order, on land the public owns.

  What is happening on federal public lands is not primarily a philosophical dispute about conservation versus multiple use. It's s transfer of wealth — from a landowner class that includes every American, to a shareholder class that skews sharply to the top of the wealth distribution.

  Federal public lands — roughly 640 million acres, about 28% of the U.S. land area — are held in trust for the American people. Every citizen has an equal ownership interest. Every decision about extraction, grazing, recreation, or conservation is a decision about how jointly-held public assets are used.

  When trustees dispose of a jointly-held asset, they owe the beneficiaries transparent cost-benefit analysis and a defensible accounting of who gains and who loses.
