By accessing, browsing, or using Patriot University (accessible at patriot.university)
and any related services, content, or features (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by
these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and IT Influentials, LLC (“Company,”
“we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of Patriot University. These Terms govern the use of the Service
and any other related agreement or legal relationship with the Company in a legally binding way.
The following documents are incorporated by reference into these Terms:

our Privacy Policy.
3. Access & Eligibility
The Service is available to all persons. There are no age restrictions on reading civic education
content. Creating an account to comment requires you to be at least 13 years of age.
Certain features — such as the AI advisor and research tools — may require an invite code
for access. Invite codes are issued at our sole discretion and may be revoked at any time.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws
in your jurisdiction.
4. Acceptable Use

applicable law. You agree not to:

- Use the Service to harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, spiders) to systematically extract content from the Service
without our written permission, except as permitted by robots.txt directives - Abuse API rate limits or attempt to overwhelm backend services
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity
- Use AI advisor features to generate content that could be used to threaten, intimidate, or harm individuals
We reserve the right to take appropriate measures to protect our legitimate interests, including
restricting access to the Service, terminating invite codes, or reporting misconduct to competent authorities.
5. User Accounts and Registration
Patriot University’s core civic education content is accessible without any account.
However, posting comments on articles requires a registered WordPress account.
5.1 Account Requirements
- You must provide a valid email address and create a username to register.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must promptly notify us at security@patriot.university if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
5.2 Account Data
When you create an account, we store your username, email address, display name, and an encrypted
password hash. For details on how account data is collected, used, and retained, see our
Privacy Policy, Section 5.

following content standards:
6.1 Permitted Comments
- Civil discussion of civic education topics, constitutional rights, and democratic governance
- Factual corrections with cited sources
- Questions about article content
- Constructive criticism and alternative viewpoints, expressed respectfully
6.2 Prohibited Comments
You may not post comments that:
- Contain threats of violence, intimidation, or harassment against any person or group
- Include hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Contain doxxing (publishing private personal information about another person without consent)
- Constitute spam, commercial solicitation, or off-topic promotional content
- Contain malware, phishing links, or other malicious code
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Violate any applicable law, including defamation, copyright infringement, or incitement
- Contain sexually explicit content
- Coordinate or encourage illegal activity
6.3 Moderation
All first-time comments are held for manual review. Previously approved commenters may
have their comments published immediately, but all comments remain subject to post-publication
review. We reserve the right to edit, remove, or decline to publish any comment that violates
these standards.
6.4 Your Content License
By posting a comment, you grant IT Influentials LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free
license to display, reproduce, and distribute your comment as part of the Service. You retain
ownership of your comment content. You represent that you have the right to post the content
and that it does not infringe on any third party’s rights.
7. Monitoring and Enforcement
To maintain community safety and enforce these Terms, we monitor registered user commenting
activity as follows:
7.1 What We Log
When you post a comment, we capture extended metadata including your IP address, browser
fingerprint, device characteristics, and session information. When you log in, log out, or
update your profile, we log those events with associated network data. For a complete list
of data points collected, see our Privacy Policy, Section 5.3.
7.2 How We Use Monitoring Data
Monitoring data is used exclusively for:
- Investigating comments flagged as abusive, threatening, or illegal
- Identifying users who create multiple accounts to evade bans (sock puppets)
- Detecting coordinated abuse campaigns
- Responding to valid law enforcement requests about specific commenting activity
- Protecting the safety of our users and community
Monitoring data is never used for advertising, profiling, sale to third parties,
or any purpose other than community safety and Terms enforcement.
7.3 Our Commitment to User Safety
We implemented comment monitoring specifically to protect our users, contributors, and
staff from abuse, harassment, and intimidation. Patriot University covers sensitive civic
topics — constitutional rights, government accountability, voting rights — and we take the safety
of everyone who participates in our community extremely seriously.
This is a civic education platform. Attempts to weaponize our commenting system to harass, threaten,
or silence participants will be met with the full range of enforcement tools available to us,
including referral to law enforcement.
7.4 Enforcement Actions
If you violate these Terms, we may take one or more of the following actions at our sole discretion:
- Remove or edit the offending comment
- Issue a warning to your account
- Place your account on moderation hold (all future comments require manual approval)
- Temporarily suspend your commenting privileges
- Permanently ban your account
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement
- Preserve relevant evidence for potential legal proceedings
7.5 Zero Tolerance for Harassment and Intimidation
Any user found to be violating these Terms — including posting threats, harassment, doxxing,
or illegal content — will be permanently banned from the site.
If evidence demonstrates that a user’s provable intent is to cause harm to individuals
or chill constitutionally protected speech — including attempts to intimidate, threaten,
or retaliate against users for exercising their First Amendment rights — we will report that
activity and provide all relevant evidence to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
We will cooperate fully with any resulting investigation.
7.6 Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing
legal@patriot.university with “Comment Appeal”
in the subject line. We will review appeals within 10 business days.

- Read, share, and link to content freely for personal, educational, journalistic, or civic organizing purposes
- Quote reasonable excerpts with proper attribution (“Source: Patriot University, patriot.university”)
- Print copies for personal use, community organizing, or educational distribution
8.3 Prohibited Use

8.4 DMCA
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please see our
DMCA Safe Harbor Policy for the procedure to submit a takedown notice.
9. AI-Generated Content
The Service includes an AI-powered constitutional rights advisor that uses Anthropic’s Claude API
to generate responses. You expressly understand and agree that:
- AI-generated responses are for informational and educational purposes only and
do not constitute legal advice, professional counsel, or attorney-client communication - AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information
- You should not rely solely on AI advisor output for making legal decisions,
especially in time-sensitive situations involving law enforcement, immigration, or court proceedings - You are responsible for independently verifying any information generated by the AI advisor,
including by consulting a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction - The AI advisor cannot and does not represent you in any legal proceeding
- Conversations with the AI advisor are not privileged — they do not create
an attorney-client relationship and are not protected by attorney-client privilege
If you are facing an immediate legal situation — arrest, detention, deportation
proceedings, or a court hearing — contact a licensed attorney or legal aid organization.
The AI advisor is an educational tool, not a substitute for legal representation.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services as described in our

- Content or data provided by third-party services

United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
