Biographical Overview

Satya Narayana Nadella (born August 19, 1967, Hyderabad, India) is the Chairman and CEO of Microsoft Corporation, the world’s second-largest publicly traded company by market capitalization. Nadella joined Microsoft in 1992 and held progressively senior roles including head of Online Services and Executive Vice President of Cloud and Enterprise before becoming CEO in February 2014. He was appointed Chairman of the Board in June 2021.
