Who Is Mike Bost?
Michael John Bost (born December 30, 1960, Murphysboro, Illinois) is a Republican U.S. Representative serving Illinois’s 12th Congressional District since 2015. He is Chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
Bost served in the United States Marine Corps before joining the Illinois state legislature. He served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1995 to 2015. IL-12 covers southern Illinois (“Little Egypt”).
