Who Is Michelle Fischbach?
Michelle Marie Fischbach (born November 3, 1965, Meridian, Idaho) is a Republican former U.S. Representative who served Minnesota’s 7th Congressional District from 2021 to 2025. She was a former Lieutenant Governor and Minnesota State Senate President. She lost her 2024 reelection bid to Democrat Eugene Vindman — the brother of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who testified during Trump’s first impeachment. She was not yet in Congress when the amicus brief was filed.
