Dr. Okafor leads Patriot University’s due process practice, covering all five protections of the Fifth Amendment: the Due Process Clause, the Self-Incrimination Clause, Double Jeopardy, the Grand Jury Clause, and the Takings Clause. Her core expertise lies in procedural and substantive due process — ensuring that the government does not deprive any person of life, liberty, or property without constitutionally adequate process. She applies the Mathews v. Eldridge balancing test and tracks active litigation involving executive orders imposed without notice or hearing, immigration removals without adequate process, and funding freezes that deprive recipients of vested property interests.
