Who Is Cliff Bentz?
Clifford Stearns Bentz (born January 12, 1952, Beaverton, Oregon) is a Republican U.S. Representative serving Oregon’s 2nd Congressional District since 2021. He is the only Republican in Oregon’s congressional delegation. He is an attorney and previously served in the Oregon State Legislature. OR-2 covers the vast eastern Oregon district. Bentz was not in Congress when the amicus brief was filed but voted to object on January 6.
