Matthew Rosendale Sr. (born July 7, 1960, Baltimore, Maryland) is a Republican former U.S. Representative who served Montana’s 2nd Congressional District from 2021 to 2025. He is a member of the House Freedom Caucus. He ran unsuccessfully for Montana’s U.S. Senate seat in 2024. He was not in Congress when the amicus brief was filed.
