Michael Clifton Burgess (born December 23, 1950, Rochester, Minnesota) is a Republican former U.S. Representative who served Texas’s 26th Congressional District from 2003 to 2025. He is an OB-GYN physician. Burgess served on the House Energy & Commerce Committee. He retired from Congress in January 2025 after 22 years.
