Biographical Overview

Pichai Sundararajan (born June 10, 1972, Madurai, India) has been CEO of Alphabet Inc. since 2019 and CEO of Google LLC since 2015. He joined Google in 2004 and led the development of Google Chrome, Chrome OS, and Google Drive before being appointed SVP of Android and Google Apps. He was named CEO of Google in August 2015 and took the additional role of Alphabet CEO in December 2019 when Larry Page and Sergey Brin stepped back from management.
