U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman granted a preliminary injunction blocking the executive order, finding ‘a very strong likelihood of success on the merits’ and that the order ‘interprets the Citizenship Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment in a manner that the Supreme Court has resoundingly rejected.’ Judges in Maryland, Massachusetts, and Washington issued similar injunctions.
