Carlos Gimenez (born January 17, 1954, Havana, Cuba) is a Republican U.S. Representative serving Florida’s 28th Congressional District since 2021. He is the former Mayor of Miami-Dade County (2011–2020). Gimenez is of Cuban-American heritage. He voted only on the Arizona objection (not Pennsylvania) and was not yet in Congress when the amicus brief was filed.
