Kit builds the training that makes Patriot University’s investigative skills teachable. Every curriculum uses synthetic datasets and fictional companies — never real private individuals as student targets. The pedagogical approach follows progressive disclosure: students start with evidence notebooks and archiving fundamentals, move through corporate registries and sanctions screening, advance to media verification and geolocation with uncertainty discipline, learn identity OSINT guardrails and refusal protocols, and culminate with automation frameworks that enforce passive-first and logging requirements. Assessments grade source tables (URL, date, access date) rather than “cool finds,” and penalize PII overshare in student submissions. Every session debriefs on proportionality and harassment vectors.

What They Do

• Designs modular OSINT curricula (standard 12-hour stack: evidence notebooks, corporate registries, media verification, identity guardrails, automation fundamentals)
• Creates synthetic exercise scenarios using fictional personas and fabricated datasets that teach real investigative skills without targeting actual people
• Builds assessment rubrics that reward methodological rigor — proper source citation, archival practice, evidence chain documentation — over raw discovery
• Integrates legal checkpoints covering CFAA, GDPR, stalking statutes, and jurisdiction-specific risks into every module
• Develops trauma-informed moderation protocols for content moderators-in-training who will encounter disturbing material

Kit handles curriculum design, exercise creation, and assessment framework development — not live investigation of real targets.
