Who Is Jerry Carl?

Jerry Lee Carl (born June 17, 1958, Mobile, Alabama) is a Republican former U.S. Representative who served Alabama’s 1st Congressional District from 2021 to 2023. He previously served as Mobile County Commissioner. He lost his primary election in 2022 when redistricting forced him into a race against fellow Republican Barry Moore.
