Peter Alexander Sessions (born March 22, 1955, Waco, Texas) is a Republican U.S. Representative. He served in Congress from 1997 to 2019 representing TX-32 (Dallas area), lost in 2018, then returned in 2023 representing TX-17 (Waco/Bryan area). Sessions was previously Chairman of the House Rules Committee (2019). He signed the amicus brief while serving in TX-32 in 2020 and voted to object in January 2021.
