Vance privately called Trump “America’s Hitler” and “noxious” and “an idiot” in texts disclosed in 2022 — then reinvented himself as a MAGA loyalist, secured a $15 million Peter Thiel investment in his Senate run, and is now Vice President. In the October 2024 VP debate, he refused to commit to certifying the 2024 election if he believed there was fraud.
