Who Is Beth Van Duyne?

Beth Van Duyne (born December 16, 1971, Somers, New York) is a Republican U.S. Representative serving Texas’s 24th Congressional District since 2021. She previously served as Mayor of Irving, Texas (2011–2016) and as HUD Regional Administrator under Trump. TX-24 covers the northern Dallas suburbs. Van Duyne was not in Congress when the amicus brief was filed.
