Walter Isaacson is one of America’s most prominent biographers and public intellectuals. He is the author of widely read biographies of Steve Jobs (2011), Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, and Elon Musk (2023), among others. He served as CEO of the Aspen Institute (2003–2018), a nonpartisan educational and policy studies organization, and previously as Chairman and CEO of CNN and Managing Editor of TIME magazine. Isaacson is a professor of history at Tulane University.
